Cookies and local storage
DraftThe site uses browser storage for theme, preferences and a short-lived copy of market answers; cookies are limited to what sign-in needs. See and clear what is stored. Draft for legal review.

The site sets no cookies of its own for tracking or advertising. It keeps your preferences and a copy of the last market answers in your browser's storage so that the theme, your presets, your settings and the board you last saw are there on the next visit. Nothing stored this way is sent to us or to anyone else.
1. Cookies
Sign-in may set a cookie that keeps your session, and the wallet provider (Privy) may set cookies of its own while you sign in. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party embed cookies. [Cookie inventory with purpose and lifetime of each: to be completed.]
2. Local storage
Local storage is a browser feature that keeps small values on your device for one site. The site writes these keys:
| Key | Holds | Set when |
|---|---|---|
| cryptobot.theme | light, dark or system | You use the theme toggle. |
| cryptobot.presets | Three quick-buy presets and which is active | You edit presets in Settings. |
| cryptobot.settings | Priority tip, MEV mode, auto slippage, bribe, custom RPC, quote unit and the held-buy guard | You change those settings. |
| cryptobot.account | Which account the personal state in this browser belongs to | You sign in. |
| cryptobot.referral | The code and tag of the referral link that brought you, until your first sign-in sends it | You open a referral link. |
| cryptobot.discover, cryptobot.hunt, cryptobot.board, cryptobot.hidden, cryptobot.feed, cryptobot.terminal, cryptobot.trade-page, cryptobot.popout, cryptobot.sidebar, cryptobot.keymap | Saved views, filters and sorts, hidden tokens, panel layouts and keyboard shortcuts | You change a view, a layout or a shortcut. |
| cryptobot.chart, cryptobot.drawings | Chart preferences and your drawings per token | You change the chart or draw on it. |
| cryptobot.watchlist, cryptobot.notes, cryptobot.follows, cryptobot.alert-prefs, cryptobot.local-rules, cryptobot.profile-public, cryptobot.team-split | Starred tokens, notes, followed wallets with their labels, alert preferences, rule drafts, the public-profile switch and the team split | You use those features. |
| cb.queries | A copy of the last market answers (the board, status, feed, tracked wallets, tokens, trending, feature flags) so a reload paints the same rows; kept for a day at most. Account answers such as positions, orders and rules are never kept here. | The app is open: written when the page is hidden and at most every 30 seconds. |
Two values live in session storage, which the browser discards when the tab closes: cryptobot.auth (your signed-in profile for this tab) and cryptobot.signup-draft (the names typed on the sign-up page while it is at Google, taken out on return). The welcome tour's step is cryptobot.welcome in local storage. The browser's IndexedDB holds one more thing, cryptobot-device: the device key, a key pair this browser makes and keeps non-extractable, whose public half owns the policies you create here. Signing out removes the query cache.
3. What is stored right now
The panel below reads your browser's local storage and lists every cryptobot. key with its size. "Clear local preferences" removes all of them and resets the theme to follow your system. It leaves the query cache (cb.queries), the session values and the device key in place, and does not touch any other site's data.

4. How to control storage in your browser
- Use the panel above, or clear site data for this site in your browser's settings.
- A private window discards local storage when it closes.
- Blocking storage for this site keeps the app working; preferences then last for one page load, and you may need to sign in again on each visit.
